SAA Cheer will offer two programs!
SAA Competition Cheer and SAA Sideline Cheer!
2024 SAA Competition Cheerleading Registration Opens
March 1 - May 1, 2024
SAA Competition Cheer
Cost: $700
Payment Plan: $400 to secure registration and $150 in April, $150 in May. Must be paid in Full by May 1.
Season timeline: June, 1 2024 through the ICA State weekend in November. SAA Cheerleading will have an end of the season banquet the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
Our SAA Competition Cheer Season runs from June 1 through the ICA State weekend in November. SAA cheerleaders will attend a minimum of two to three practices a week. Competitions begin in August/September and end with the ICA State Championship in November. All competitions are held within Illinois. SAA cheerleaders promote the program through many fundraising activities such as the SAA Car Wash, Flower Sales and Team sponsorships.
All SAA Competition Cheerleaders will perform in the annual Schaumburg Labor day parade.
SAA Competition Teams perform at home football games.
Registration Includes: Registration fee, 3 competitions, SAA assessment fee, squad fees, competition music, junior coaches' compensation, dedicated indoor practice facility, t-shirt, banquet admission and competition bow.
Additional Costs (not included in registration):Uniform, cheer shoes, additional competitions and ICA State Competition fees.
SAA Cheer Registration Information
SAA Cheer reserves the right to refuse registration from any participants and/or families that currently do not have an updated account status OR who have repeatedly violated ANY of the parent expectations outlined in the parental conduct guidelines.
REFUNDS:
COMPETITION CHEER
June 1, 2024: Final refund date (all refund request need to be made in writing to the SAA office) Should a participant withdraw from the program after June 1 no refund will be returned to the parent since additional expenses will have been incurred, regardless of the reason.
SIDELINE CHEER
July 19, 2024: Final refund date (all refund request need to be made in writing to the SAA office) Should a participant withdraw from the program after July 19 no refund will be returned to the parent since additional expenses will have been incurred, regardless of the reason.
2024 SAA Sideline Cheerleading Registration Opens
June 10 - July 19, 2024
Sideline Cheer
Cost: $275
Sideline cheer must be paid in full upon registration.
Season timeline: End of July through the football championships in Mid-November.
The main purpose is to support SAA Youth Football teams by performing sideline cheers and quarter/half time performances at home football games. The cheerleaders will practice a minimum of 2 hours a week at local football fields. They will learn basic stunting, jumps and cheers. They will also participate in other fundraisers/events such as the SAA Cheer Car Wash and Schaumburg Labor Day parade.
Registration Includes: Registration fee, SAA assessment fee, squad fees, t-shirt, banquet admission and bow.
Uniforms will be loaned to cheerleaders, and must be returned at the end of the season.
