SAA Crossfit Training

SAA Pilot CrossFit Program

The Schaumburg Athletic Association and CrossFit Roselle have teamed up to pilot a new CrossFit program that will add to SAA's personal fitness offerings

 

CrossFit Roselle Philosophy

At CrossFit Roselle, we don’t focus on strength training or Olympic lifting or gymnastics or running. We mix all elements equally in unlimited combinations to expose you to as many different stimuli as possible. By doing so, we will improve your endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.

We will make you better, fitter, healthier.


The Program

Pushing, pulling, jumping, lifting, swinging, running, throwing. You name it, we do it. Workouts are done in group setting so you can be pushed and motivated by others around you. Our coaches are there to lead you through the movements and keep you in check.

The 4-week pilot program will be open to boys and girls ages 13 through 19 and will begin with an initial screening and benchmark test scheduled for all SAA athletes on August 14th at 6:00pm.  This screening/test will be repeated at the end of the 4-weeks to gauge improvements.  The pre and post tests would be at set days/times.  Otherwise, participants are free to attend whatever class/day fits their schedule through September 8th.  

The athletes will essentially be attending regular CrossFit classes; however, we will make the appropriate changes to the workouts to accommodate sport specific athletes.  Meaning, if the regular scheduled workout for the day is to run 3 miles, we would offer an alternate workout for the SAA athletes.  Our coaches are well versed in modifying workouts to meet specific needs.  I would personally be involved in determining what movements need to be modified to best accommodate the SAA athletes.

5:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm

TUESDAY

5:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 6pm (Masters/Beginners) 7pm,  8pm

WEDNESDAY

5:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm

THURSDAY

5:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 5pm, 6pm 

FRIDAY

5:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm

SATURDAY

8:30am (partner), 9:30am (partner), 10:30am


The Cost

The entire 4 week crossfit program with unlimited sessions/week at a time of your choosing is being offered for only $200.00/person
