The Schaumburg Soccer Club is a program within the SAA, non-profit organization, and was founded in 1986, for the purpose of developing and promoting youth soccer in the greater Schaumburg area. The Schaumburg Soccer Club is run by volunteers who strive to provide a competitive, fun and safe environment for players to learn all technical and tactical aspects of soccer. We seek to provide opportunities for all soccer players to participate in a competitive environment. Our program focuses on a structured, developmentally and age appropriate curriculum in order for all of our players to reach their full potential.

The club provides opportunities for all soccer players to participate in a competitive environment that develops a player's skills, knowledge and appreciation for the game of soccer by incorporating the best training, structure and development through positive coaching. Through experiences derived from playing competitive soccer, we strive to help players mature as people and will encourage the development of important life skills such as good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and fair play.

The club has a very active and competitive program with about 25 teams starting at U9 through U19 divisions. In addition to playing in the Fall and Spring seasons, our teams compete in various tournaments throughout the region. Including our tournament, Schaumburg Soccerfest, which is hosted on the last weekend in August and features over 200 teams from across the Midwest.

Schaumburg Travel Soccer teams will play between 8 - 10 games in both the fall and spring season. Half of the games are played at our home fields in Olympic Park. The other half of the games are played at the opponent's field, usually within a 1-hour drive from Schaumburg. Typically, boys games are played on Saturday and girls play on Sundays. However, game days may vary.

Schaumburg Travel Soccer teams practice twice per week for 1.5 hours during the regular season. Practices are held at Olympic Park in Schaumburg. The Club also offers a variety of professionally led soccer skills camps in the summer and specialized keeper training during the regular season. Schaumburg Travel Soccer teams are trained by licensed professional soccer trainers. Trainers lead the weekly practices and may participate with the team during games and tournaments. Trainers also lead various skills development camps held over the summer.
