1. Click HERE to begin your SafeSport Training Registration.
   1. The link above will steer you to “SafeSport / Athlete Safety” to create your account. Google Chrome or Firefox are recommended for the best user experience.
   2. Add Membership:
      1. Organization: Schaumburg Athletic Association
      2. Access Code: R5LW-9QJL-2XPK-9P2X
   3. Register:
      1. Account
         1. Enter your First, Last, Email and Password, Confirm Password
      2. Profile:
         1. Upload a recent photo of yourself and confirm the required fields.
         2. Select Coach or Volunteer as your primary position.
         3. Click Save to Complete your registration. You should see a confirmation pop up:
      3. "Account successfully created"
   4. An email will be sent to you to confirm your account.
      1. The email will come from “no-reply@athletesafety.org”
      2. Open the email and click “Confirm Email Address”. You can then sign in.
2. Once you’ve signed in, click on Menu, Training from the top left.
   1. Select “SafeSport™ Trained” from the catalog and “Add to Bag”.
   2. Select “Add Coupon” and enter the coupon code: COUPON CODE (provided by the Sport Head Commissioner) to apply the discount.
   3. Select “Checkout”.
   4. Once you’ve successfully checked out, you will be able to complete the training from your Learning Dashboard.

Remember to download and save your SafeSport™ Trained certificate upon completion of the course.

This year we are using a smart phone app “Dick’s Team Manager” to publish practices, and game schedules.

When you download the app, please sign up with the email account you registered your child in Blue Sombrero.

This is very important that we have the parents on this app as this is where coaches will primarily communicate with their teams.

Here are some features of using the app:

1. Team Schedule:
   1. Up to date practice information.
   2. Up to date game information.
2. Team Chat
   1. Chat feature to communicate with entire team or just your coach in an expedited manner.
3. Child availability:
   1. Parents can select if their child will be attending a practice / game so the coach can adjust for the kids to have the best experience.
