2025 Tryouts - Self Motivated Players Wanted!

Tryout dates and times for the 2025 season are listed below!

Must have the will to learn, the heart to love the game and the effort that comes within.

All players must register in advance for tryouts.  To register click here!

Schaumburg Flyers will have open tryouts for the 2025 season starting July 2024.  Existing and potential players interested in travel baseball are welcome.

We are looking for:

- Talented players who will commit to working hard to improve their game.

- Players who will commit to our off-season training and in-season schedule.

- Families who will be supportive, not intrusive.

 July 16th 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM East Field

 12u  July 17th 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM East Field

 13u

 July 16th 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM West Field

 14u

 July 15th 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM West Field

 15u

 July 15th 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM West Field

All tryouts will take place at:

Polk Brach Park, 901 E. Thacker St. Schaumburg 60173
 

If you were unable to attend the advertised dates for your age group, contact paul.wimmer@saa-online for a private tryout!

In the event of inclement weather, we will contact all registered players to inform them of a makeup date.

Residency Rules

The Schaumburg Flyers program does not have any residency rules to provide opportunities to all families to become a part of SAA and the Schaumburg Flyers program.

Age Clarification

Players are welcome to try out for their age appropriate level or above.  Players age levels are determined by their age as of May 1st, 2025. 

Example:

A player that is 12 years old on May 1st, 2025, would try out for 12U team. 

A player that is 11 years old as of May 1st, 2025 but turns 12 on (for example) July 12, 2025, is considered an 11U player but is also eligible to play on the 12u team as well.

The dual age level affects kids born between May 1st and September 1st.  In these cases, your child is eligible to play at either the 12u level or the 11u level in this example.
