Payment Plan: $250 up to secure registration and then $100 in April and $100 in May. Must be paid in Full by June 1.
Season timeline: July 1 through the IRCA State weekend (December 7-9)
Our SAA Competition Cheer Season runs from July 1st through the IRCA State weekend (December 7th-9th). SAA cheerleaders will attend a minimum of two practices a week. Competitions begin at the end of September through the IRCA State Championship Weekend in December. Competitions are held within Illinois and can be up to 50 miles away. SAA cheerleaders promote the program through fundraising activities such as the SAA Car Wash, Flower Sales and Team sponsorships.
All SAA Competition Cheerleaders will perform in the annual Schaumburg Labor day parade as well as at a community service event.
SAA Competition Teams will also perform at home football games.
Registration includes: Registration fee, SAA assessment fee, squad fees, choreographed routine, competition music, junior coaches’ compensation, dedicated indoor practice facilities, 1 season T-shirt, banquet admission and 3 competitions. Pending the squad receiving a state bid, the IRCA State Competition fees are not included in the registration costs.
A uniform, shoes and cheer bow are not included in the cost and must be purchased in addition to the cost of the program
Football/Sideline cheer must be paid in full upon registration.
Season timeline: End of July through the football championships in Mid-November.
The main purpose is to support SAA youth football teams by performing sideline cheers and quarter/half time performances at all home and away football games. The cheerleaders will practice a minimum of 2 hours a week at local football fields. They will learn how to stunt, cheer and show enthusiasm to support football players. These practices and games are supervised by parent volunteers. The football cheer teams will be provided with sidelines, quarter and half time routines in July and August. Cheerleaders will travel to the football games that can be up to 50 miles away. They will also participate in other events such as the SAA Cheer Car Wash, Schaumburg Labor Day parade, SAA Football Homecoming Pep rally.
