Sluggers 11U Team and Program Information

Sluggers are the premier travel softball program in the Northwest Suburbs and have several teams in our organization that are nationally ranked and recognized.

We offer a world class 24/7 hitting/pitching/training facility with top of the line equipment. The Sluggers have in house instructors for pitching, hitting, and catching that are the best around. Sluggers are part of SAA and have access to 16 softball diamonds in Schaumburg. We also practice and play games at the Schaumburg Sports Center, which is one of the premier indoor softball diamonds in the Chicagoland area. Our in season and off-season training resources are second to none in the Chicagoland area.

We are a development focused organization that has the coaching talent and resources to develop players to their full potential. We play at the highest of levels to challenge our athletes against the best competition we can find.

The 11u team is lead by Dan Long who has lead Slugger teams at various age levels from 8u - 18u to countless tournament championships and several top 50 national rankings. He is a former D1 player and minor leaguer with over 15 years of high level travel coaching experience. There are no 11u coaches anywhere in the area that can match the experience and success he brings to this age level. In 2022 Dan's 10u team won a National title and they hope to continue to build on that success this season as well.
