Spring 2019 Registration Information

Baseball Registration opens on December 1, 2018 and ends on February 16, 2019.

(Spring Player Evaluations will be held at the Schaumburg Sports Complex on 2/16/19, if you cannot make it, there will be a field in the registration process that can be filled out to indicate you cannot make evaluations and the league commissioners will adjust accordingly)

Baseball is offered for players of age 4 to 19 (Colt) years old
T-ball players must be 4 years old by May 1st 2019, all other leagues are formed by a Sept 1st cutoff date. For example if your child turns 9 yrs old before Sept 1 2019, then they will be in the 9/10U league for the Spring Season. This aligns with school grade level cutoffs as well.

Baseball offers weekly workouts/sessions at our indoor facility free of charge to registered players starting in Mid-January of 2019 through mid-March right before the season kicks off

Additional competitive league/tournament teams as part of the NIASL (North American All-Star league) N60 League are available for 8U-14U (must be an in-house player to participate in the N60/Tournament teams)

In-House Baseball and Tournament Team

SAA In-House baseball is an instructional league for the purpose of learning the game and having fun.  All players are taught the baseball skills to play the game and encouraged to try all positions.  Sportsmanship and fair play are the hallmarks of our league, with all players an equal team member.

The year begins with player evaluations where coaches observe your son or daughter in basic baseball skills.  Players are then selected and placed in teams, attempting to make the teams as even and fair as possible.  League standings are not kept, which removes pressure from everyone involved to "win at all costs".  This allows all players to try every position with the confidence to know they are simply playing a game to have fun.  At the end of the regular season is an all-star celebration weekend, with players selected by their peers not only for their ability, but for their teamwork and spirit.  Finally, for the older players, the season ends with playoffs and a league champion.

Besides the regular in-house leagues, we sponsor Tournament teams at some levels which give players exposure to a more competitive game.  Additional Tournament Team information is available here

For competitive Travel baseball, please click the link in the main menu at the top of the page.

In-House leagues (kindergarten through 8th grade) are designed purely for the fun of playing a game.  Players are instructed in the fundamentals of baseball and given every opportunity to play every position equally.  Scores are not kept so that the players can enjoy the game without the pressure of winning or losing.

For a  more competitive level, we have the All-Star Tournament Teams available starting at the 2nd grade (8u).

Special thanks to our Baseball Sponsors!

Zeigler Chevrolet is a supporter of SAA In-House Baseball and we graciously thank them for their generous financial donation as well as raffle prizes for our all-star weekend.  When you visit them, please mention that you are part of SAA Baseball.

Buffalo Wildwings in Elk Grove donated food for our evaluation day volunteers while Rosario's donated pizzas for our player's clinic staff.  They are both a great place to have a post-game celebration!
