Spring 2023 Registration Information

Baseball Registration opens on December 1, 2022, and late registration begins on February 1, 2023. Waitlist registration begins February 26, 2023.

Baseball is offered for players aged 4 through 18 (Colt) years old.

T-ball players must be 4 years old by May 1, 2023, all other leagues are formed by a September 1st cutoff date. For example, if your child turns 9 yrs old before September 1, 2023, then they will be in the 9/10U league for the Spring Season. These cutoffs are intended to align with school grade-level cutoffs as well.

**Additional competitive league/tournament teams, as part of the NIASL (North American All-Star league) N60 League, are available for 8U-14U (must be a registered in-house player to participate in the N60/Tournament teams).

Information will be forthcoming about tryouts for these teams. Please indicate your interest during the in-house registration process. At this time, we are still seeking coaches and players for our teams. The viability of any tournament team will be assessed, once there is enough interest.

In-House Baseball

SAA In-House baseball is an instructional league for the purpose of learning the game and having fun. All players are taught the baseball skills to play the game and encouraged to try all positions.

In-House leagues (kindergarten through 8th grade) are designed purely for the fun of playing a game.  Players are instructed in the fundamentals of baseball and given every opportunity to play every position equally. Scores are not kept so that the players can enjoy the game without the pressure of winning or losing.

Sportsmanship and fair play are the hallmarks of our league, with all players as equal team members.

For most leagues, the year begins with player evaluations where coaches observe your son or daughter in basic baseball skills. Players are then selected and placed into teams, attempting to make the teams as even and fair as possible. League standings are not kept, which removes pressure from everyone involved to "win at all costs".

This allows all players to try every position with the confidence to know they are simply playing a game to have fun. At the end of the regular season is an All-Star celebration weekend, with players selected by their peers not only for their ability but for their teamwork and spirit. Finally, for the older players, the season ends with playoffs and a league champion.

Tournament Teams

Besides the regular in-house leagues, we do sponsor Tournament teams at some levels. whenever possible, which gives players exposure to a more competitive game.

For a  more competitive level, we have the All-Star Tournament Teams available starting in the 2nd grade (8u).
