2019 SAA Rec Soccer Spring Fill-in registration is now open. Registration is $135 per player. Practices can begin March 25th, weather permitting. The first week of games are scheduled for Saturday, April 6 for Kindy/Girls' leagues and Sunday, April 7 for Boys' leagues. All teams will be scheduled to play on Saturday, April 20 and no games will be scheduled on Sunday, April 21. There will be no games scheduled over Memorial Day Weekend.
To reduce absences which happen every summer, the SAA Rec In-house tournament will take place the weekend of May 31-June 2. We will have a final weekend of games scheduled on June 8 & 9.
SAA Rec Soccer depends on volunteers to function. We need coaches and assistant coaches to volunteer! Without coaches, many players will not be placed. In tandem with our training partners, SAA Rec Soccer will provide coaching clinics to help current and potential volunteer coaches. Our goal is to place every child who has a desire to play soccer. Volunteer so kids can play! Coaching requires a minimum of 2 hours of practice during the week and coaching during the game on weekends. If we don't have volunteer coaches by March 1, we will reach out to recruit coaches. If that does not result in enough coaches, we will begin refunding registrations.
Schaumburg Athletic Association (SAA) TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community- based soccer program through U.S. Youth Soccer for children 5 and older with a physical or intellectual disability.
