3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th Tournament Schedules are posted here.
Games will take place on May 20th and 21st
SAA Rec Soccer 2023/24 Fall/Spring Registration is open. If you played in the Fall, you do not need to reregister. Most games will be scheduled on Sundays with some Saturdays being used. Registration fees are $175 through June 4 with early bird pricing. June 5 - August 7th, the price is $195. Beginning August 8, there is a $25 late fee applied. Registration fees include a uniform kit (shirt, socks and shorts). Teams will also collect a $25 per session ($50 overall) snack fee. Ordering a team snack is a requirement of the SAA Rec Soccer Program. This funds the concession stand and prevents us from requiring sponsorships or fundraisers. Please do not bring outside team snacks.
Our goal is to have Grades 1-8 be single gender. We need you all to register early in order to accomplish this target.
Practices can begin in mid-August and games will begin the Sunday after Labor Day, Sept 10. Practice days and locations are selected by the coaches. Practices can be M-F, 5:30pm or 6:30pm.
We will offer the following leagues:
Pre-K(ickers) One coach led practice per week and trainer led activities on gameday
Kindy, 1st /2nd Girls, 1st Boys & 2nd Boys, - 4 v 4, no goalies, small fields - a maximum of 2 1-hour practice sessions per week
3rd /4th Girls and 3rd /4th Boys 7v7 or 8v8 including goalkeepers - 2 1-hour practice sessions per week
5th /6th Boys and 5th/6th Grade Girls 9v9 - 2 1-hour practice sessions per week. We need early registrants for separate leagues.
7th /8th Grade Boys and 7th/8th Grade Girls 11v11 - 2 1-hour practice sessions per week. We need early registrants for separate leagues.
Most importantly, we are a program of volunteers. The only way to guarantee that your child plays is to coach. Multiple assistant coaches will be placed together if there are not enough head coaches. We do offer coaches' training led by professional trainers.
Finally, requests are viewed, but not guaranteed as we are trying to balance teams. Your children can have a new coach, new teammates and have an opportunity to make new friends. You can also make new "carpool" arrangements.
Schaumburg Athletic Association (SAA) TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community- based soccer program through U.S. Youth Soccer for children 5 and older with a physical or intellectual disability.
Soccer practices will be modified to accommodate each player's unique abilities and motivations and highlight their strengths. Players will be partnered with volunteer “Buddies” to work on fun soccer activities. Adaptive equipment will be provided for various special needs. Everyone who wants to play will be accommodated in such a way so that they can participate.
Practices are held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons at the Atcher Park Soccer Fields weather permitting. The season runs September -October and April -June. We will also have some indoor dates available during winter months. Players and volunteers may register at any time.

SAA Rec Soccer will once again participate in the Northwest Suburban High School Girls Recreational Soccer Leage aka Blackmore. The league consists of teams from other recreational leagues from the NW and far NW suburbs of Chicago. This is a fall only league, so it does not compete with Girls High School Soccer. Games will be scheduled on Sunday afternoons, home and away. There will be at least 1 tournament scheduled. There are two optional, but recommended practices per week. The season begins in August and concludes in late October. Registration fees are $175 and that includes uniform shirt and socks, as well as a professional trainer to lead practices. We acknowledge that high school is a demanding time. This opportunity is ideal for those who want to play soccer, but also work, are busy with classwork or participate in other sports/activities. It is open to all levels and experience. Girls have played Blackmore and played at all levels of high school, whether it be Freshman, Jv1 or Jv2 and even Varsity. Some have even continued to play in college.
This is a great opportunity to have fun and prepare for the high school season with excellent training at a very reasonable cost. No players who are carded travel players can play in travel and Blackmore concurrently.
