SAA Rec Soccer 2022/2023 Registration

SAA Rec Soccer 2022/23 Registration is open as of May 15th.  Registration is for Fall and Spring, there is no need to register again in February.  League formation depends on registration numbers.  Most games will be scheduled on Sundays with some Saturdays being used.  Registration fees will be $195 for fall and spring.  Teams will also collect a $20 per session ($40 overall) snack fee.  This funds the concession stand and prevents us from requiring sponsorships or fundraisers.  There is a $20 early-bird discount valid through June 5th.  Team formation will begin in mid July and a $25 late fee/fast day of refunds will go into effect on August 8th.

Practices can begin the week of August 22 and games will begin the weekend following Labor Day.  Practice days and locations are selected by the coaches.  Practices can be M-F, 5:30pm or 6:30pm.  Games will be scheduled from September 10/11th through October 29/30th with the possibility of extending through Nov 5/6th for make ups.

We will offer the following leagues:

Pre-K(ickers) One coach led practice per week and trainer led activities on gameday

Kindy, 1st /2nd Girls, 1st /2nd Boys, - 4 v 4, no goalies, small fields

3rd /4th Girls and 3rd /4th Boys 7v7 or 8v8 including goalkeepers

5th /6th Girls and 5th /6th Boys 9v9

7th /8th Grade Girls and 7th /8th Boys 11v11

Most importantly, we are a program of volunteers.  The only way to guarantee that your child plays is to coach.  2 assistant coaches will be placed together if there are not enough head coaches. We do offer coaches' training led by professional trainers.

Blackmore High School Girls Soccer

SAA Rec Soccer is continuing to play in the NW Suburban High School Girls Recreational League aka Blackmore.  If you have a high school aged daughter who wants to continue playing soccer, sign her up!  We play teams from other soccer associations.  Games are on Sunday afternoons and can be home or away. Registration is $175 for 8 weeks and planned tournaments.  Practices begin in early August and games begin in mid-late August.  A uniform shirt and socks are included.  There are two practices per week which will be led by licensed trainers.  If your daughter is preparing for high school soccer, works a job and wants to remain active, or plays another high school sport; Blackmore is a great option.  It is pretty competitive, yet recreational soccer.  No players can be concurrently carded travel players for the 2022 Fall Season and play Blackmore.

Since our program relies on volunteers, please consider being a coach or assistant coach, training is available!
Registration fees include a uniform (shorts, jersey and socks).
All games will be on Sundays.
Pre-K(ickers), Kindy, 5/6 Grade and 7/8 Grades will be coed.
