Club Soccer Junior Academy

Spring 2024 Registration Now Open!

Spring Season Begins April 9th!

Openings will fill up fast! Don't miss out!

Mission: Offer soccer development at an affordable rate with US Soccer certified coaching in an environment that emphasizes learning and development over winning and high pressure.  Intended for the player that wants to gain basic soccer skill for enjoyment or for seamless transition for qualified players into our competitive club teams registered with Illinois Youth Soccer leagues (YSSL/NISL/IWSL).

Benefits:

  • Club Juniors will follow a similar curriculum as the competitive Club Players.  The lessons will be age appropriate and take in considerations the players current abilities.

  • Qualified Junior Club players that develop will acquire minimum requirements to play with Competitive Club players.

  • Qualified Club Juniors may get the opportunity to train or play with competitive club teams.  We want Junior members to get a good feeling for club soccer.  Many families outside of club soccer can be intimidated by the club environment.  Opportunities to experience the competitive teams will give you a first hand perspective and answer any questions you may have.

  • Training facilities at Olympic Park are the best in the Northwest of Illinois.  The Juniors will play on both grass and turf, centrally located in one location.

  • Junior Club participants are eligible to play recreational soccer as well.

  • Other potential opportunities at coach and players discretion

    • Invite to play with competitive club teams

    • Club Indoor futsal play

    • Friendly play with competitive team players

    • Friendly play with Illinois Premier Alliance Junior programs.

Fees include:

  • Training by US Soccer Certified Coaches.  Activities are created to improve technique.

  • In Fall and Spring, weekend friendly, instructional play in small group format.  This is not a soccer league.  Friendly play allows coaches to include instruction and play together.  The purpose of the game is to apply weekly activities in a game format.  Instruction given to the Juniors will be shared with parents.  It is important for parents to understand what is being taught.

Small sided instructional play format:

We use a small sided format for training activities and friendly play.  This provides for more opportunities for each child to get engaged in the play.

  • Small sided formats include 3v3, 4v4, 7v7.

    • Format can vary based on age, player numbers, and lesson being taught.

    • Number 1 goal is to emphasize building confidence to use technical skills learned in training.

    • Secondary benefits include the basics team shape, defensive and attacking roles.

    • Age Groups - Teams could be co-ed.  This will not affect a player's ability to learn and grow as we control the environment.
